Dr. Kevin Mulhern
Doctor of Chiropractic
Dr. Mulhern found his calling after two very painful accidents in his teenage and young adult years, when he was introduced to local chiropractors, who helped relieve pain extremely efficiently. The chiropractic treatments both times had such a profound, positive impact on him that he decided to go to chiropractic school and become a chiropractor himself. He trained directly under one of the leading American chiropractors – Dr. George Goodheart DC. In 1977 he graduated from the National College of Chiropractic.
Since 2003 Dr. Mulhern serves as the President, Clinic Director and Chief Clinician at the Wellness Center of Waltham. The chiropractic and wellness center specializes in numerous areas, e.g. headaches, neck, back and extremity pain, many types of traumatic injuries such as motor vehicle, work related and sports accidents as well as chronic gradual deterioration. Among his patients and peers, Dr. Mulhern is highly regarded for his strong work ethics, broad knowledge in chiropractic care, nutrition, applied kinesiology, NMT and overall health care.
He is the publisher of multiple articles in the Forensic Examiner and has held numerous professional lectures at the local Chiropractic Societies. His keen understanding of the functioning of the nervous system, muscles, glands, organs and other circulatory systems of body and his ability to treat even difficult conditions have made him to an expert in his field. Beyond that, Dr. Mulhern is very caring and goes the extra mile to help his patients.

Beyond that she assists Dr. Mulhern in setting patients up in their various therapies, e.g. traction therapy, physical and heat therapy. She likes working at the Wellness Center of Waltham because…in her words: “Dr. Mulhern is very caring as a doctor and person. You don’t see that very often anymore.”
Transcription of Daily Office Notes,Front Desk Duties & Marketing
Zander has been an employee of the office since 2005 when he was still in high school. He has been trained in numerous areas of the office including transcription of daily office notes, front desk duties, marketing, and various therapies. He received his Bachelors degree in 2011 and is currently working at Dana Farber Cancer Institute in Boston, but still works per diem for the Wellness Center of Waltham “behind the scenes” typing patient notes and doing other projects that need to be completed. Zander cites Dr. Mulhern has an inspiration for getting into the healthcare field.
Zander is also a proud chiropractic patient and an avid tennis player. He has played tennis for nearly 13 years and has received chiropractic adjustments for approximately 8 years. He receives adjustments on a regular basis, which, in his words: “The adjustments keep me functioning at 100% while playing tennis and helps me recover from a long match.” During one match, he severely sprained his left ankle. An orthopedist recommended surgery, but Zander requested Dr. Mulhern to take a look at it first. After just one adjustment, he was able to walk on the ankle again. It took two to three months to heal completely, but he didn’t truly need surgery and he’s been back playing tennis ever since — without any recurring problems to that ankle!
